There’s just a couple of days left to
submit your manuscript to the
Walt Whitman Award, the country’s most valuable first-book prize in poetry. The winner receives $5,000; book publication by the award-winning Graywolf Press; and an all-expenses-paid, six-week residency at the Civitella Ranieri Center in Italy. The winning title is also distributed to thousands of Academy members. Carolyn Forché will judge.
